Our Story on Little Collins
Since 1998, Collins Street Books has welcomed Melburnians and visitors alike with the scent of fresh pages and single-origin espresso. What began as a modest second-hand shop has blossomed into a literary landmark where first editions share shelves with graphic novels, and strangers become friends during spirited book launches.
We actively preserve local history, archiving out-of-print titles on Melbourneās architecture, arts, and multicultural heritage. Each Saturday, laughter spills from our childrenās corner as storytellers animate classics, while Thursday nights see spirited debates in our mezzanine during the weekly philosophy salon.
